Inclusion consists of students who have various kinds of learning disabilities. All of the students have Individual Education Plans that describe in detail the goals and objectives for that student's education for any particular school year.

Some of the inclusion students are full-time students in the regular classroom and receive support help from the resource teacher and the resource education aide. All other students spend time in the inclusion class when it is necessary for them to have individual or small group instruction from resource education personnel.

At A.E. Phillips, our resource policy is to have students in the regular classroom for as much instruction as possible. We are working toward inclusion of students in all areas. Our resource education teacher and aide, as well as Lincoln parish personnel, are working with classroom teachers to facilitate that policy.
